About Me

J.V. Gallotello grew up in Connecticut and attended Western Connecticut State University, where he earned his Bachelors in Communications and Theatre. While active on the stage, he once directed an off Broadway show and studied playwrighting, completing a full length play and several one act plays, though only two of the smaller ones ever saw production.

He has carried his love of the 1980s with him like people carry water bottles, and playing with action figures evolved into assembling and painting miniatures and creating dioramas and terrain for them to play on. He is also an avid reader, particularly in the horror genre.

Shadows and Games is his first novel, and he looks forward to it someday being published. He lives in Vermont with his wife and dog.
