Abra, a thirteen year old tech prodigy, finds herself embroiled in the middle of the dark conspiracy and must find a way to extricate herself and save the day, with only her wits and her friend Wolfos; the large blue werewolf alien that serves as the bodyguard of her uncle, the baron.
Meanwhile, in America, a pair of fifth graders who hold the fate of the universe in their hands are trying to adjust to a new school in this genre mashing adventure set in the backdrop of the 1980s.

The sequel to Shadows and Games is currently being written. In it, the heroes of the besieged country of Salvation receive much needed reinforcements and gain a powerful ally in their fight against the forces of evil, but the group of villains are preparing to make their most devastating strike yet.
At the same time in Vermont, Phillip and his sister Irena are continuing to struggle with bullying, and Jamey tries out for the football team to try and make his vice principal father happy. Both families are planning a week long stay at a beach house at the end of the school year.
